UPDATE 9:36 PM

The U.S Senate race came to a close almost immediately after Delaware. Incumbent Thomas Carper pulled ahead of his republican opponent Robert Arlett by almost 35,000 votes.

 

In the U.S House races, Democrat Lisa Rochester is leading by 31 points and Democrat Kathleen Jennings is leading by 27 points in the Attorney General race.

 

Two of Delaware’s ten state senate districts up for reelection have been called for democrats. Four of the remaining eight districts have been projected for democrats and the other four are projected for republicans.

 

A majority of Delaware’s State House seats have been called and are projected for democrats, but republicans have won four of the thirteen seats called so far.
