At 8:06 p.m., Doug Ducey won his second term. He was first elected in 2015.
UPDATE 8:49 PM
At 8:49 p.m., Voters decided to reject renewable energy requirements.
Renewable energy was apart of Prop 127, which would have increased the states renewable portfolio standards each year reaching 50 percent in 2030.
By doing this , it renews clean energy like wind, solar, and water. This is the most expensive ballot measures in the state’s history.

With polls closing at 8 p.m., at 9:20 p.m. Ann Kirkpatrick defeated Lea Marquez Peterson in the 2nd district.
She will fill 435 seats in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Kirkpatrick represented 1st congressional district of Arizona from 2013 - 2017.

For Arizona, a 58 percentage reports that the governor’s race is running neck to neck.
Republican Martha McSally is in the running with 49.1 percent and Krysten Sinema with 48.6 percent.
UPDATE 12:29 am
For Arizona, Sinema percentage is 48.7 percent with 645, 971 and McSally percentage is 49.1 with 653, 293 votes.
