NORTH DAKOTA

UPDATE 10:14 PM

In North Dakota, Native Americans are having difficulty voting due to the new voter ID law.

According to MassLive, a United States Supreme Court decision in October supported new voter ID requirements in North Dakota.

On reservations like Standing Rock in Fort Yates, North Dakota, many Native Americans do not have a residential address, which is a key part of the new voter ID requirement. This is leaving Native Americans to scramble to get valid identification cards in order to vote in the midterm elections.

UPDATE 10:31 PM

With Republican Kevin Cramer at 59.1% and Democrat Heidi Heitkamp at 40.7% ,it is currently too close to decide which direction the senate race is going in North Dakota.
