Texas voted to re-elect President Trump with 38 Electoral votes. Trump won the election by 647,076 votes.
The Texas senate race was between Democratic candidate Hegar and Republican candidate Cornyn. Cornyn won the election by a little more than a million votes.
The house is majority red with 23 republican counties and 13 democratic counties. There are 36 counties in total that make up the house.
“Republicans have carried Texas in each of the last 10 presidential elections,” according to CNN.
